Periodismo bajo asedio digital: inscripciones abiertas para la Conferencia por el Día Mundial de la Libertad de Prensa que se llevará a cabo en Punta del Este. Más de 40 conferencias con oradores de diferentes países y cientos de participantes se reunirán del 2 al 5 de mayo en el Centro de Convenciones de Punta del Este, Uruguay, en la Conferencia por el Día Mundial de la Libertad de Prensa.
Bajo el lema “Periodismo bajo asedio digital”, el Día Mundial de la Libertad de Prensa 2022 se centrará en el impacto de la era digital en la libertad de expresión, la seguridad de los periodistas, el acceso a la información y la privacidad.
La conferencia reunirá a periodistas, políticos, representantes de medios de comunicación, activistas y expertos jurídicos de diferentes países. Las preinscripciones están abiertas en el sitio web de UNESCO.
Se realizará en formato híbrido, con participantes presenciales y en línea, del 2 al 4 de mayo en el Centro de Convenciones de Punta del Este, Maldonado. El Gobierno Nacional ofrecerá una gala en el Auditorio Nacional del Sodre Dra. Adela Reta, el 4 de mayo, y una excursión al casco histórico de Colonia del Sacramento, inscrita en la lista del Patrimonio Mundial de la UNESCO, el 5 de mayo.
